You all know how much I love smoothies. They have everything going for them: healthy, tasty, easy to make. And on top of that, they’re so versatile!
There are so many variations you can make!
You can make them with any kind of fruit, from bananas to raspberries. Or you can make them with coffee, chocolate, or even avocado! But this Chai Breakfast Smoothie is just the ticket! A nice little change from the usual mixed berry version.
This Chai Breakfast Smoothie tastes creamy, refreshing and decadent, just like your favorite Chai tea latte, but its diary free, gluten free and contains no added sugar. You’re going to love it! Add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder for a little extra boost of protein in the morning.
This recipe can’t get much easier. Simply place 1 large banana, 1 cup of almond milk (or preferred type), 1 tsp of chai spice and 1 Tbsp of honey in a blender. Pulse until you have a creamy texture. *If you want to add ice or a scoop of protein powder, feel free to add it and pulse a few more times.
