Low-Carb Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bites
These Low-Carb Bacon Egg & Cheese Bites are an easy, delicious low carb breakfast, snack or appetizer.
Does anyone else have a love affair with hard-boiled eggs? HONESTLY, they’re versatile, nutrient-dense, and the perfect pre-portioned snack you can grab on the go. I try to keep a bowl of 5-6 hard-boiled eggs in the fridge at all times. That way I can throw them into any recipe that may need a little extra protein boost.
Recently, I came up with this easy recipe for Low-Carb Bacon, Egg and Chees Bites, and let me tell you they are amazing!! They are gluten free, keto, low-carb and absolutely addicting! Top with a little hot sauce and you have the perfect, protein filled snack.
Ingredients to make Low-Carb Bacon, Egg & Cheese:
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Bacon – Feel free to use regular, turkey or veggie strips.
- Cheese – I used mild cheddar slices, but use your favorite.
- Optional: Hot Sauce

How to make the perfect hard boiled eggs:
Place desired amount of eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring water to a boil. As soon as the water begins to boil, turn off the heat and cover the pot. Leave the eggs in the hot water for approximately 10-12 minutes.
When time is up, drain the eggs and transfer them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for 15 minutes before you try peel the eggs.
How to make Low-Carb Bacon, Egg & Cheese:
Step 1: Peel and slice hard boiled eggs in half, lengthwise.
Step 2: Place a small piece of cheddar cheese on 1 half of the egg.
Step 3: Top with a piece of bacon, and the 2nd half of the egg. **Optional: add a drizzle of hot sauce.
Step 4: Use a toothpick to hold the “sandwich” together.
Step 5: ENJOY!
These little bites are always a crowd-pleaser.
